African Oil Bean (Ugba) is an excellent source of protein, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, energy, calcium, cooper, manganese. It reduces cancer growth and it helps in treating cuts and wounds.
African oil bean sauce (ugba), contains if not all, but almost all nutrients in a balanced food diet. You can use (eat) it to measure up your daily healthy life.
This recipe is not known, so I will be showing you how to prepare this delicious sauce.
INGREDIENTS
•African oil bean (Ugba)
•Groundnut oil/ fish oil
•Fresh tomatoes
•Fresh pepper
•Onions
•Cow skin(kpomo)
•Vegetable (Ugu)
•Crayfish
•Seasoning cubes
•Salt
PROCEDURES
Get a clean pot, steam you kpomo for few minutes
Tip: it depends on how soft or strong your kpomo is.
Get another clean pot, place it on a low heat and add your groundnut oil /fish oil
Add your onions, stir and allow for 6secs
Add your tomatoes, fresh pepper, seasoning cubes and a pinch of salt. Stir for at least 8minutes
Add your Ugba, stir and allow for 3minutes
Tip: Your Ugba needs to heat up
Add Crayfish and your cooked kpomo with a little of its water, stir and allow for 5minutes
Tip: You don't add plenty of water if your are cooking Ugba sauce
Taste for salt
Add your vegetable, mix well and allow for 5 secs.
Tip: Don't leave your your sauce for more than 5secs once you've added your vegetable.
You can serve your Ugba Sauce with Rice.
